Ladies and gentlemen we might have a surprise in the future with an outlandish car designed by Bentley so let’s see what is happening with our dreams.
Bentley unveiled the EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept, at the 2015 Geneva Motorshow, although the power train hasn’t been confirmed yet so we still let our imagination run wildly.
But we don’t exclude the possibility of a Bentley hypercar in the future, according to Bentley CEO Wolfgang Dürheimer we still have some hope left:
“That project will be investigated intensively in Crewe within the next month. The question is, do we build the standard car you would expect in that segment? Or do we go with lots of carbon fiber and lightweight components? Now that would be a car we could take to the big guns.”
Well, after this affirmation we realized that Bentley is really in the mood for exploring some new interesting corners of the market. They launched earlier this month their first SUV, named Bentayga, putting a price maybe a little bit more peppered than its competitors, but Bentley is famous for not playing with money when it’s about quality.
Dürheimer told Top Gear that maybe a supercar would be possible:
“Yes, I could imagine there is space for a Bentley at around £1 million [roughly $1.5 million],”
So let’s not lose faith because we might have a phenomenal surprise soon enough.
After the prices Bentley presented, it seems that it plays on the same territory with LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and the Koenigsegg Agera R.
For Bentley’s 100th birthday, the idea of a hypercar with the British carmaker’s signature grand-tourer cars or the view of a brand-all-new, track-focused hyper car remains in this point only dreams, but we will know for sure in 2019.
I am sure that you are all thrilled to find out more about they new hypercar Bentley.
